After an intense and productive year of work and one succesful open call, the RobMoSys consortium travelled to Luxembourg to face its first review meeting with the EC and external evaluators appointed by the Commission.
The Comission and evaluators were very pleased with the close colaboration among the consortium partners and the overall commitment to the RobMoSys approach. The feedback received has been very constructive and encourages us to keep on working as enthustically as we have been from day one.
On the next day we organized a workshop together with our partner project ROSin at the premises of the EC. We invited other related European H2020 projects, which just started this year: Eurobench, INbots and MicroRos, to exchange our experiences on robotic software engineering, cascade funding, ethics, model based approaches and the future of EU robotics. We all have the common goal to create a EU Digital Industrial Platform for Robotics, achieved by strong community involvement and cascaded funding opportunities.
We had very interesting discussions during the various sessions and it was also a great opportunity to establish new contacts with other experts in this field.
