Keynote by Francesco Ferro, CEO of PAL Robotics

Robotics and automation are increasingly important in today’s complex business environments, and we believe that collaborative robots will soon become an everyday part of our business and personal lives.

This presentation will focus on the history of PAL Robotics: who we are and what we do, our experience in the industry, and what we expect and hope to see in the coming months and years.

We believe that the future of robotics is in collaboration: collaboration between humans and robots, between industry and academia, and between institutions, countries, and continents. We will therefore also give an overview of some of the exciting European projects we’re involved in that are looking to improve quality of life and incorporate robotics into our everyday lives.
