How can we contribute to an EU Digital Industrial Platform for Robotics ?
February 21 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
The EU projects RobMoSys and ROSin, are organising a full-day workshop at the premises of the European Commission in Luxemburg on February 21st, 2018.
The two projects funded by the European Commission Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme started in January 2017 in a common foundational effort to create an EU Digital Industrial Platform for Robotics which shall be achieved by strong community involvement and cascaded funding opportunities.
The purpose of this workshop is to exchange our experience with other EU projects and to profit from each other.
This workshop has been endorsed by the EC, which will also be present at the event.
The workshop consists of 2 sessions of world cafes to discuss the following robotics – related topics:
– Cascade funding
– Future of EU robotics
– Robotics Digital platforms
– Certification: procedures and methodology to certify compliance to requirements
– Quality Assurance and robot software engineering
– Modelling and Tooling
– Professional Training
See preliminary agenda for more details

About the projects:
RobMoSys, coordinated by the French Alternative Energies and Atomic
Energy Commission, envisions an integrated approach built on top of
the current code-centric robotic platforms by applying model driven
engineering (MDE). www.robmosys.eu
ROSin, led by the Delft University of Technology, aims to exploit the
current momentum of the open-source Robot Operating System (ROS) and
make it better, more accessible, and more relevant to industrial
